There are a lot of good web tools that should help content writers.
This makes sense given how important it is to find non-unique sections in your post.
Even though I often talk about search engine optimization benefits, it is true that these products are also a great way for students to improve writing skills as well for a teacher to check authenticity of an essay paper.
NoPlag is one of the best free tools of this sort.
Let’s see what it can do for your website and review its main features!
How does NoPlag work?
Like most other simple checkers, there is no need to sign in or download software in order to use it. All you have to do is simply copy paste a text into a box and click on a button. Unfortunately, there is no option to submit files.
Free version can support up to 500 words. This doesn’t make it good for longer report papers that students usually write.
Once you click a button, you will be placed into queue.
Noplag.com processes text by text at least for a free account.
When checking is done you will be able to access a log where you will see all the sources from which sentences were plagiarized. These sentences will also be underlined in your own text. This is a good way for an individual to see where he made a mistake. You will also get a uniqueness score.
If you check the menu you can see that this tool provides API which can be used for your own site.
As I already said, free version has a lot of limitations. However, there are several paid plans that can help out.
You can choose between “Individual plan” ($11 per month), “Education plan” ($50 per month), “Website owner plan” ($7 per month) and “Business and team plan” ($50 per month).
Each one of these has additional options such as ability to share files with team members, to upload files, to check unlimited number of words, to create reports for later use and so on.
My take on NoPlag
Even though free version has limited use, you have to consider that this software is based on some high technology. There are also regular updates which is pretty great.
Whether it’s used as a learning tool, for improving your chances of getting a scholarship or for detecting plagiarism in your web content, NoPlag will be give you a reliable solution.
Good thing about it is that you can try it for free (albeit with limited features).
Based on this initial test, you can decide whether or not it’s worth getting it.
Have you used this tool? What is your impression and would you recommend it to others?
